
SONGWRITERS CIRCLE (monthly)
An informal group for songwriters to come together once a month to share new songs and encourage creativity.
Sessions are held on the 4th Thursday of every month.

Entrance fee £3 (to cover the cost of room hire).

Your songwriting circle hosts are:

Holly Green is a songwriter and a storyteller who morphs between live music, storytelling and poetry. Holly has a Masters in Songwriting: her love for and research into storytelling as part of her thesis has led her to work in that tender cross over between a story sung and a story told. more.....

Chris Bullen began his career as a recording engineer and went on to compose and produce soundtracks for video and film. He continues to write songs and perform in rock and folk bands. more....

Tony Phillips won the Milkmaid Songwriting Competition in 2017 with ‘Rolling On’ which has become the theme tune for a national touring project looking at the state of sessions and sing-arounds all over the UK. more....

We run workshops when there is sufficient demand. You would not have to participate in the competition or attend the circle to take part.
