Tony Phillips

Tony won the competition in 2017 with ‘Rolling on’ which has gone on to become the theme tune for a national touring project looking at the state of sessions and singarounds all over the UK. 

For many years my musical home was the Bluebell Inn in Hempstead, in the rural north of Essex, without doubt one of the finest pubs in the world untill Rod and Marian finally retired in 2015 – from 2009 to 2019 my new haunt was the incomparable Plough and Fleece in our adopted village of Horningsea in Cambridge, now a community pub owned and run by the punters.
