Bluestone performed a short set at our first showcase night and went down so well that we've asked them back for more! They are a trio from Bury St Edmunds who deliver a unique style of traditional acoustic blues. Formed by David Bartlett and Linda Baddeley of acclaimed a cappella group Sound Tradition (renowned for their rich harmonies) and seasoned guitarist Dave Rushton.
Bluestone deliver a soulful sound that’s both raw and refined. Their music weaves the earthy tones of guitar and harmonica with beautifully harmonised vocals, drawing on the roots of blues.

Jeremy Lloyd is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Academy of Music who will be performing piano duets with Chris Warner. Both are Coveney residents.

THE ORGANISERS
The music nights are being organised by Chris Warner, a resident of Coveney, and Chris Bullen from Wardy Hill. These events aim to bring the community together through live music while supporting a good cause. Proceeds from the entry fees will go towards raising funds for the maintenance and improvement of Coveney Village Hall, as well as covering the costs of the main performing artists.

Chris Warner is a composer, sound designer, arranger and orchestrator with a passion for telling stories through music and sound. He is equally at home working in the theatre as he is in the recording studio, from small scale rural touring theatre projects and educational media work to major TV series and large scale theatrical productions.

Chris Bullen began his career as a recording engineer before moving into soundtrack production for film and video. He later ran a record label and music venue, releasing around 25 albums and hosting artists including Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Matt Cardle. A gigging musician throughout his career, Chris now co-runs a songwriting organisation and annual competition.
