Steve wrote his first song aged 21 then spent many years occasionally singing and playing other people’s songs on guitar. He started to perform more frequently from 2017, but it was the 2020 lockdown that spurred his return to songwriting.

Steve wrote his first song aged 21 then spent many years occasionally singing and playing other people’s songs on guitar. He started to perform more frequently from 2017, but it was the 2020 lockdown that spurred his return to songwriting. 

To date, Steve has written and recorded thirty songs that blend carefully crafted, often heartfelt, lyrics and melodies that he delivers with quiet emotion. He now performs regularly in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex and London. He has released both solo and collaborative albums, EPs and singles and can be heard on radios stations both home and abroad.
